Google Introduces Nutrition Information to Google Now Search

nutrition search2
This morning, Google announced that they will now display nutritional information from the Knowledge Graph in Google Search. Once live, you should find “extensive nutrition information for over 1,000 fruits, vegetables, meats and meals in search,” from both the web and your mobile device. As you can see in the images included in this post, you should be able to ask your device specific nutrition questions and have it respond back to you. When you ask Google “how many carbs are in corn?” it should respond while also providing a card with quick information, much like you see with other Google voice searches.
The service will launch in English first and will rollout out in the U.S. only over the next 10 days.
